Saved Scans

Basic Scan

    Basic Scan can automatically scan the entire market to give you real time results on each search you perform. It allows you to view market activity in real time. You can access charts, news, and company research directly from your scan page. What's more, the results can easily be copied into eSignal for further analysis.

     

     

Scan Type

    The following scans provide a list of stocks using the following criteria:

Volume
Dollar Volume
% Gainers
% Losers
$ Gainers
$ Losers

 

highest volume traded that day

highest dollar volume (volume x share price) that day

highest % appreciation that day

greatest % depreciation that day

highest dollar appreciation that day

highest dollar depreciation that day

IPO (2 Wks - 3 Mos)
IPO (3 Mos - Year

 

All stocks

NASDAQ NMS and small-cap market

New York Stock Exchange

American Exchange

stocks that have IPO'd within the last 2 weeks

stocks that have IPO'd between 2 weeks and 3 months ago

stocks that have IPO'd between 3 months and one year ago

 

 

Min/Max Price

    Allows you to set price brackets (i.e., minimum/maximum dollar value per share) to focus on stocks best suited to your trading needs.

     

     

Min Volume

    The Min Volume is used to select stocks whose daily traded volume exceeds the specified value.
    For example: If Min Volume is set to 100k, this means a stock has to trade over 100,000 shares to be included in the scan.

     

     

Other Options

    Takes you to the table at the bottom of the page where you can select more options.

     

     

Results Table

    Table which displays the issues that meet your criteria.

     

     

Options: Chart

Font Size:

 

allows you to change the size of the text in the results table

 

Options: Saved Scans

    Allows you to save all your current settings and restore them later. You may have up to 10 saved scans.

Load:
Delete:
Save As:

 

loads the selected saved scan
deletes the selected saved scan
saves all your current settings under a name that the user enters
